Half Way There

Catching up...

Today you will spend the class:

1. Making sure all blog entries are up to date

2. Ensuring that your portfolio is complete. It should include your personal narrative, your resume, the Justin Case resume and cover letter, and your junior project. (Make sure you have electronic copies of these assignments, also).

New Year....

In this daily blog, I want you to tell me what your New Year's resolution is. It can be in your life, in your school, or in your job. so write:
1. What the resolution is.
2. Why the change?
3. How do you intend to succeed?

Adding friends' blogs

Today you will add a BLOG list to your page. Under TEMPLATE in the design area, you can ADD A GADGET. Choose BLOG LIST to add to your page.

Everyone is responsible for adding 5 friends to their page.

Add a photo

Find a humorous picture on any website (my favorites are on the Cheeseburger network), posit it to your blog using the icon above (looks like a little photo) and comment on it: why you like it, does it describe your mood? or maybe it reminds you of someone (50 words min).

When you place your cursor over the picture it will give you several options such as size and location. Choose medium for the size and left for the alignment.

Adding a video

I saw this video and thought, "What was your favorite video of the year?" It can be a song or a comedy video or almost anything (school appropriate of course!).

Along with the video, write a short narrative about WHY you like this video (50 word minimum).

to import the video, click on the "Clap board" icon above (next to the picture and "link" icons).
